Mahmoud Tamer Ali
I help organizations identify and secure weaknesses before attackers exploit them.
I am a cybersecurity enthusiast from Cairo, Egypt, focusing on offensive security, penetration testing, and network defense. My journey started when I was 13, experimenting with coding and reverse engineering, which later grew into a strong passion for finding and securing vulnerabilities.
I work on helping people and organizations improve their security by combining technical knowledge in offensive security with a practical, hands-on approach to ethical hacking. I like to make security learning clear, engaging, and focused on real results.
I gained my experience through hands-on training and real practice on platforms like TryHackMe and HackTheBox, always applying both technical skills and the attacker mindset. Right now, I am preparing for the OSCP certification, with the long-term goal of becoming one of the top ethical hackers in the Middle East.
Reverse Proxy Bypasser – A security tool that detects and bypasses reverse proxy protections to reveal the real server IP. It helps penetration testers map infrastructure and uncover hidden attack surfaces.
Designed and implemented a secure enterprise network using Cisco Packet Tracer, applying real-world security practices across routing, switching, and management with multiple layers of defense including VPN, ACL, ZPF, DHCP Snooping, and BPDU Guard.
Comprehensive penetration testing of Kioptrix Level 1 VM, demonstrating vulnerability identification, exploitation techniques, and privilege escalation paths to gain root access.
Comprehensive penetration testing of Metasploitable VM, demonstrating multiple exploitation paths including FTP, SSH, Samba, Apache TWiki, MySQL, and Tomcat vulnerabilities leading to complete system compromise.
